Deputies with the Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office have detained a woman after a man was stabbed multiple times in Atascocita Monday evening.
It happened in the 5300 block of FM 1960 E. at the Baan Thai Cuisine restaurant.
The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office says it happened just before 7 p.m. when a woman came into the restaurant and started arguing with a male employee. Witnesses tell authorities the two knew each other and the woman was a previous employee of the restaurant, but it is unclear what the relationship is between the two now.
During the argument, the woman pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the chest and neck. There were approximately 10 customers inside the restaurant at the time and they rendered aid to the victim.
The suspect ran out the back of the restaurant where she was detained by deputies.
It is unclear what condition the victim is in, but he is in surgery at a hospital.
Deputies found the knife used in the attack. The woman faces aggravated assault charges.
